Rodolfo De La Guardia

Miami, Florida

Rodolfo De La Guardia attended the University of Miami from 1982 through 1986 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, MI. and graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1991. He has been admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and is a member of the District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Also, Mr. De La Guardia has held the rank of Ambassador on Special Mission for the Republic of Panama and the rank of Honorary Consul for the Republic of Panama’s Miami, FL Consulate.

Mr. De La Guardia concentrates his practice in consumer bankruptcy law and has been practicing in this area for 27 years. Mr. De La Guardia has experience in personal injury, real estate and immigration. Presently, Mr. De La Guardia concentrates his practice in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 Consumer bankruptcy.

Michael J. Brooks

Michael J. Brooks attended the University of Florida from 1976 through 1980 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended Nova Southeastern Law School and graduated with a JD in 1984. He has been admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. He is a member of the District Court for the Southern District of Florida and for the District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Brooks concentrates his practice in consumer bankruptcy law and has been practicing in this area for 34 years. Mr. Brooks has experience in personal injury, real estate, corporate and probate. Presently, Mr. Brooks concentrates his practice in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy’s and handles complex litigation in those areas.

Michael A. Frank

Miami, Florida

Michael A. Frank attended the University of Florida from 1975 through December of 1978. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors. He attended the University of Florida Law School from 1979 until he graduated with his JD in December 1981. He is admitted to practice in Florida, is a member of The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, is admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and also in the District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Frank specializes in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and has been practicing in this area for 36 years. He has lectured on numerous panels around the country with reference to the ongoing issues in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and more recently on the changes to the bankruptcy code by the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA). He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Miami School of Law and St. Thomas University School of Law. He belongs to the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustee’s and The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is also an annual lecturer for the Miami Dade County Pro Bono Bankruptcy seminar.
